Parents and coaches,

Thank you so much for helping make our Rockford Showcase basketball tournaments a wild success! As you know, the tourneys are our fundraiser that helps keep our participation fees low and allows our program to cover costs for things like tourney entry fees, uniforms, equipment, youth night, gym rental space and more!  Thank you for putting in your volunteer hours and to many of you who went above and beyond to pitch in and cover. 

We wrap the weekends with some amazing stories, laughs, tired legs and lots of pride. We are very proud of our Rockford Rockets and wanted to share some of our highlights:

• Watching the 3rd/4th grade girls participate in their first game ever (for some) and seeing the passion from their coaches. Great news – they secured their first win in Becker this weekend with a nail-biter! 
• Seeing our 4th grade boys teams take 3rd and 4th place, respectively. It will be fun to watch them progress as the season gets rocking for them! 
• Watching the Rockford 5th grade boys white team take home 4th place and with the most competitive games of the weekend, exciting come backs and the loudest crowd (of other 5th graders) in the stands.
• Seeing the Rockford 5th grade boys green team take home 2nd place (1st place in my mind given the A-level team they were up against in the championship) with some very impressive play!
• Watching Rockford 6th grade green clinch 1st place with their awesome defense, aggressive offense…..and little sisters who take their cheerleading duties very serious!
• Witnessing the Rockford 7th grade white team rise to the occasion and finish 2nd in their division
• Experiencing the final Rockford Showcase Tourneys for our 8th grade girls and boys teams who both secured 3rd place finishes. We look forward to watching them play as part of the High School program in the years to come! 
• Seeing many of our RAAA alumni work the clocks and scoreboards and the overall support from the boarder community

A special thank you to the RAAA board members who put in countless hours to make the youth basketball program strong. Pulling off two tournaments on back-to-back weekends (in December) is no joke.

AS ALWAYS WE WILL BE HOSTING OUT EVENT THE ROCKFORD COMMUNITY CENTER IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ROCKFORD HIGH SCHOOL! OUR COMMUNITY CENTER JUST GOT NEW FLOOR AND WE HAVE PLENTY OF SPACE FOR ALL OUR TEAMS!

WE DO CHARGE ADMISSION AT THE DOOR FOR ALL SPECTATORS:

$5 FOR STUDENTS AND SENIORS (55+)

$8 FOR ADULTS / $15 FOR 2 DAY PASS

5 AND UNDER ARE FREE!
