Once chosen, all coaches will be required to have pass first aid training, concussion training, PCA double-goal coaching certification and a background check through Trusted Coaches.  Candidates that are chosen to be coaches will be sent a coupon code to cover the required courses, if they are not already certified through trusted coaches.

RAAA Basketball has made the commitment to provide a safe, positive and productive experience for today’s youth in the community. Each coach will successfully complete the Trusted Coaches Membership Program. The Trusted Coaches program is a comprehensive membership program that offers essential training, education and screening necessary for a youth coach. The components of the Trusted Coaches Membership include:

·         concussion instruction

·         nationwide criminal background check  

·          Positive Coaching Alliance Double-Goal Coach® character education course. 

·         first-aid training
