The Rockford 8U Black fastpitch softball team ended the season in  the Minnesota Softball 8U State Tournament July 13-14 at Dred Scott Fields in Bloomington. They overcame the heat and their bats came alive to make for a successful weekend, finishing with a weekend with a 3-2 record to end the season on a high note.
