The Crow River Revolution 14U Green team participated in Tier 2 of the 2017 Summer state tourney (out of 7 tiers). Overall, the team had a great showing. While losing game 1 against Cold Spring 0-6, the score was 0-2 going into the 7th inning, when Cold Spring erupted for four more runs to put the game out of reach. The Rev found their bats in game 2 against South St. Paul, where that coupled with solid defense led to a 5-0 win.  Game 3 against the North St. Paul Polars was a thriller. With time expiring and a 2-2 tie, the Polars put up 2 runs in the top of the first extra inning. That proved too much for the Rev, who ultimately lost 3-4 to end their state tourney run. Congratulations to the Green team on a fantastic season!
