Brad Mazer graduated from Orono High School before attending Gustavus Adolphus College where he studied psychology and played baseball.  In 2002, he was the MIAC Player of the Year and an All-American as a catcher.  Brad holds the career records for home runs and doubles for the Gusties.

After graduating from Gustavus he played professional baseball for three seasons in the Northern League with the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks and was the starting catcher on the 2003 Northern League Championship team.  Brad was inducted into the Gustavus Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017.  He earned his doctorate in counseling psychology at the University of St. Thomas and is currently practicing psychology at The US Department of Veterans Affairs.  Brad has been providing baseball instruction since 2002.
